Nicola Harris is registered with the Health Professional Council, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and has been CRB checked. Nicola is recognised by most private health insurance companies.
Nicola trained and qualified at St. Mary’s Hospital, London before spending 10 years working in rehabilitation at a number of the leading London teaching hospitals.
In 2003, Nicola specialised solely in vestibular rehabilitation and established a London-based private practice treating balance patients referred by neurologists, neuro-otologists, ENT consultants, and GPs. Nicola is very experienced in the management of medico-legal clients with balance problems and a part of her private practice work is given over to medico-legal casework.
Nicola’s previously utilised her expertise in the NHS at a Regional Balance Centre in the South East, which is recognised as a centre of excellence in the management of a complex balance disorders with a national referral base.
Nicola was one of the founding members of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists with an Interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR). She is a regular speaker at conferences on the management of balance disorders, and is a lecturer on vestibular rehabilitation courses.
